Bio

Jarred began his fitness journey in middle school in preparation for football and baseball in high school. After starting 3 years on both teams, Jarred enlisted in the US Army where his love and appreciation for functional fitness was found. During his 7 years in the Army as a Cav Scout, Paratrooper, and Pathfinder; Jarred could witness the differences the workouts were having on his squad and himself on the battlefield in Afghanistan and the tactical edge it gave them. After leaving the Army, Jarred continued his training focusing more towards strength and conditioning as he attended Marietta College to play D3 football as a middle linebacker and special teams player for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

After leaving college for the fire academy and moving to South Carolina, Jarred pursued his love of functional fitness and helping others by obtaining his Crossfit L1 and coaching classes and individuals for over 2 years as well as doing individualized competition prep programming. Jarred loves working with all levels of athletes and finds great enthusiasm in athletes making life changes, athletes achieving things they never have, and helping get athletes to and beyond their goals.

Jarred is currently a full time firefighter/EMT with the Town of Moncks Corner, where he runs the fitness program at the department as well. Jarred also spends his free time playing rugby for the Charleston Blockade and is a USA Football/NFHS Accredited Interscholastic Football Coach.
